Biography:Beautiful, Argentinean-born, and French-reared, "Paulette Duval" became a fixture in Hollywood films of the '20s, playing Poppea in Fox's European-lensed "Nero" (1922) and Madame Pompadour opposite "Rudolph Valentino"'s gallant barber in "Monsieur Beaucaire" (1924). A former Ziegfeld Follies dancer, Duval returned to Europe after the changeover to sound and is said to have appeared in several French films. ~ Hans J. Wollstein, All Movie Guide
