Biography:A professional model since high school, "Pamela Sue Martin" began appearing in theatrical films in 1971. She achieved stardom in the 1977 TV series The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries, playing Carolyn Keene's teenaged sleuth Nancy Drew. Quitting the series over creative difference, Martin began cultivating a sexier, more adult screen image in films like "The Lady in Red". She spent much of the early 1980s in the role of Fallon Carrington Colby in the prime-time TV serial "Dynasty"; her character wound up being killed in a car crash, only to be revived in the person of "Emma Samms" on the "Dynasty" spin-off The Colbys. In 1984, "Pamela Sue Martin" both starred in and co-scripted the feature film "Torchlight". ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
