Biography:French actress "Miou-Miou" has successfully pulled off the considerable trick of combining intoxicating sensuality with down-to-earth humor. After spending the better part of her childhood helping her greengrocer mother, Miou-Miou took on a few more rent-paying jobs before joining nightclub comic Coluche and improv actor Patrick Dewaere in a coffee-theatre revue troupe. In 1971, she launched her movie career with "La Cavale". Miou-Miou's most fondly regarded screen appearances have included her supporting appearance as a street gang moll in "Going Places" (1974), her star turn in director "Diane Kurys"' "Entre Nouse" (1983), and her adroit portrayal of a sexy "professional reader" in "La Lectrice" (1988). In 1997, she earned additional raves for her part in the acclaimed "Nettoyage à Sec" ("Dry Cleaning"). ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
