Biography:An alumnus of the USC drama department, brunette American leading lady "Madolyn Smith" accrued generous critical praise for her supporting work in such films as "Urban Cowboy" (1981) and "All of Me" (1984). Smith's major TV-movie accomplishments include such roles as Jihan Sadat in "Sadat" (1983), the seriously disturbed Dorothy Kovacs in "Ernie Kovacs: Between the Laughter" (1984), and Joseph P. Kennedy's actress-paramour "Gloria Swanson" in "The Kennedys of Massachusetts."
