Biography:Producer "Lindsay Doran" has spent her entire career within the film industry. Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Doran graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz and then moved to London where she was a contributor to The Oxford Companion to Film and The World Encyclopedia of Film. Upon her return stateside, Doran worked as a producer of local documentaries for a Pennsylvania television station. She began working at the L.A.-based Avco Embassy Pictures in 1979. While there, she served as the creative affairs director and then a story executive, working on films like "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia" (1981). She was appointed vice president of the company shortly after it became Embassy Pictures.
