Actor Born: June 13, 1965 in Charleston, WV Biography:Perhaps best known for her Emmy award-winning role as Molly Conlan McKinnon in the long-running daytime drama As the World Turns, actress Lesli Kay stands well apart from the pack due to her remarkable commitment to the craft. While Kay had previously appeared in such risqué features as Petticoat Planet and Cyberella: Forbidden Passions, it's the brunette beauty's television work that garnered her the most attention -- with an Emmy award-winning performance on As the World Turns following a decade of work on screens both small and large. Additional roles on Loving, One Life to Live, and Ryan's Hope found Kay working the soap opera circuit with remarkable skill, though in 2004 she would find herself immersed in controversy with claims that she had been fired by the producers of General Hospital for getting pregnant.
