Biography:After studying at "Lee Strasberg"'s Actors Studio and Sandy Meisner's Neighborhood Playhouse, "Kathleen Maguire" made her professional stage debut in the early '50s. Her most celebrated performance was in the 1958 off-Broadway revival of Time of the Cuckoo, for which she won an Obie award. In 1957, she made her first film appearance as Ellen Wilson in the New York-filmed "Edge of the City". On television, "Kathleen Maguire" was a familiar soap opera performer, co-starring in such daytime dramas as "Three Steps to Heaven", "A World Apart", A Time for Us, and One Life to Live. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
