Actor Born: February 7, 1927 in Montpellier, France Biography:Unlike many of the other "protégés" of 20th Century-Fox executive Darryl F. Zanuck, French-born Juliette Greco didn't really need Zanuck's sponsorship to succeed in showbiz. Greco was already a popular Parisian cafe chanteuse and veteran of several European productions before Zanuck brought her to America to co-star in "The Sun Also Rises" (1957). She also prospered after parting company with 20th Century-Fox in the early 1960s, continuing to play choice club dates and to co-star in such internationally financed films as "The Night of the Generals" (1967).
