Director, Screenwriter Born: February 15, 1936 in Cannes, France Death: April 9, 2001 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Biography:French director and screenwriter Jean-Gabriel Albicocco is the son of cinematographer Quinto Albicocco. Like his father, young Albicocco began his career as a cameraman. He then became Jules Dassin's assistant on the film "He Who Must Die."
