Biography:Most of character actress "Dortha Duckworth"'s nearly 60-year-long career was spent on Broadway in productions such as Goodbye Again, Pippin, and Arsenic and Old Lace. A native of Newton, KS, she moved to New York to study acting in the 1920s. She took her first Broadway bow in 1932. As a much older woman, Duckworth began appearing in television commercials and in the occasional feature film beginning with "The Honeymoon Killers" (1969) and ending with "Stanley and Iris" (1990).
