Her first real break was "Clair"'s Le Silence Est D'Or (also known as "Man About Town") (1947), in which she was cast opposite "Maurice Chevalier". Though the greater portion of her film work has been in France, Dany was seen in the 1961 British comedy "Waltz of the Toreadors" and the American productions "Follow the Boys" (1963) and "Topaz" (1969, her last film).
