From 1983 to 1987, Gibb appeared as teenaged showbiz hopeful Holly Laird on the syndicated TV drama "Fame". She essayed the title role in the made-for-TV biopic "The Karen Carpenter Story" (1987) and was also the recurring character Suzie Martin Wyatt on the enduring daytime drama "Search for Tomorrow".
