Biography:Not to be confused with the Irish heartthrob Colin Farrell (of Minority Report, Phone Booth, Alexander, and Miami Vice), the London-born character actor of the same name made periodic appearances in first-run British films throughout the '60s, '70s, and '80s. Farrell worked multiple times, in fact, with the majestic Richard Attenborough (on the 1969 farce Oh! What a Lovely War, the 1977 A Bridge Too Far, and the 1982 Gandhi). Other appearances include Whiteley in Kevin Connor's 1975 fantasy The Land That Time Forgot and Karger in the 1990 Murder East -- Murder West. In the '90s, Farrell segued almost exclusively into British television. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide
