Actor Biography:Not to be confused with the influential silent screen director/comedian "Charles Chaplin", Jamaica's "Charlie Chaplin" is one of reggae music's leading proponents of the dancehall style, in which toasters rap over reggae backing tracks. Chaplin is noted for his rapid-fire vocal style and his mixture of humor with social and political commentary, often speaking out against violence, drug abuse, and disrespect to women.
