![]() Avg.User Rating: Rate this person: Screenwriter Biography:This American screenwriter alternated his billing between "Bob Williams" and "Robert Creighton Williams", though the high-toned formality of his triple-barreled name was not always indicative of the content of his scripts. From 1943 until the early '50s, "Williams" dealt almost exclusively in Westerns. He spent the better part of his career at Republic, tailoring screenplays to suit the talents of such cowboy heroes as "Don "Red" Barry" and "Allan "Rocky" Lane". Active until 1957, "Bob Williams" occasionally contributed a non-Western or two, vide 1952's "Macao" and the 1957 sci-fier "20 Million Miles to Earth". ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
