Actor Born: 1904 in Seattle, WA Death: September 1, 1958 in Los Angeles, CA Biography:A minor vamp of the 1920s, brunette "Alma Bennett" seduced mostly comics: cross-eyed "Ben Turpin", bucolic "Andy Clyde", and most famously, "Harry Langdon". She vamped the latter in her only remembered film, "Long Pants" (1927), but less than two years later she was reduced to playing a typist in "My Lady's Past" and a jury member in "Painted Faces".
