There's no doubt that "The Walking
Dead" is one of the hottest shows on cable, but we felt our patience being
tested the longer the search for little Sophia (Madison Lintz) went on. The girl
got separated from the rest of the group in the season opener ... more when a herd of
zombies stormed the interstate. After they found Herschel's (Scott Wilson) farm, the group was able to regroup
and start looking for Sophia. Some complained that the prolonged stay at the
farm drained the tension out of a show that built a lot of good will with its
audience by scaring the crap out of them week in and week out. But when the
survivors find out that Herschel's been keeping zombies in the barn, the last
thing we expected to see come stumbling out was a zombie-fied Sophia. It was sad
to see Rick (Andrew Lincoln) have to step up and put a bullet
in her head, but it was one of the top tune-in moments of the season.
