to Michael Conrad. His compassionate, idiosyncratic, veteran cop Phil Esterhaus
was simply the spine of "Blues" for its first several seasons. And, after
winning two Emmys, there's little doubt he would've won more if not succumbing
to cancer during Season 4. Rest in peace, sir, and wherever you may be -- be
