Initially, Parvati auditioned for "The Amazing Race" and wasn't accepted. The
casting directors sent her information on to "Survivor," and she was accepted
there. She knew nothing about the show except that people had to eat bugs. And
this is the girl ... morewho went on to become a jury member on one season and win
another. It just goes to show you that "Survivor" can sometimes be more about
luck than anything else.
