Agenda: Krycek (far right) is planted at the FBI to hinder Mulder's search for the truth at every step. He takes his orders from Cigarette Smoking Man and is both a liar and a dangerous killer.

Case File: ... moreTeaming with Mulder to investigate a mysterious death after the X-Files are shut down (at the end of Season 1), Krycek slowly gains Mulder's trust -- only for it to be revealed that he has been put in place to subvert Mulder's work. Venal and willing to play both sides against each other, Krycek ultimately betrays the Cigarette Smoking Man as well and takes off on a whole new spree of murder, manipulation and blackmail -- until he is finally killed by Skinner.
