She contended that she needed to spend ... moremore time with her children. Her sudden departure caused partner Tony Dovolani to withdraw from the show as a result. However, Evans continued to make headlines even after her departure with reports surfacing from other contestants that she thought the show was "corrupt." She also alleged that some contestants (ahem, Joey Lawrence) used lifts in their dance shoes.
