Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, the two brainiacs behind much of the success
of "Lost," have some big expectations to live up to this season. With only 18
episodes remaining, the duo have plenty of mysteries to wrap up and a legion of
fans ... morewho will surely cry foul if the season finale doesn't majorly deliver.
"Even a single scene from the show would basically tip what it is we're doing
this year," Cuse said, about the absence of promotional clips in advance of the
premiere. "And what it is we're doing this year is different than what we've
done in other years." What we do know: The show's dueling timelines will sync up
and the flashbacks and flash-forwards will cease, but besides that your guess is
as good as ours. We also know that plenty of characters we haven't seen in a
while are slated to return, like Charlie (Dominic Monaghan), Boone (Ian Somerhalder) and Claire (Emilie de Ravin). Oh, and the show
moves to Tuesdays this season.
