And here we are, in our last season. We've welcomed the final additions to
the main cast: toughie Dr. Cate Banfield (Angela Bassett) and Dr. Simon Brenner (David Lyons) as the latest troubled heartthrob (see also:
Ross, Kovac, Gates). We've said goodbye to Abby and Luka
... more (to Boston), goodbye to
Neela (and hey, Ray!), goodbye to the pairing of Gates and Sam (for now,
anyway), and a quick hello to old cast members Corday, Carter, Benton, Ross and
Hathaway, while guest stars have so far included Wallace Shawn, Amy Madigan, Louis Gossett Jr. and Tom Arnold. We can't wait to see how it all ends --
hopefully not in the snow globe of an autistic child.
