Daniel Green (Jordan Wall) is a 23-year-old grad student
who interns for Carlos in the medical examiner's office. Knowledgeable, though
not necessarily worldly, Daniel becomes a trusty source of information and
expertise for Longworth, who doesn't hesitate to play Daniel against ... more Carlos.
Executive producer Gary Randall on Jordan Wall: "We were in
Tampa having trouble finding local talent for the role of Daniel, and this boy
walks into the room and just blew us away. We've said to him, 'You really don't
understand how much of a brass ring you've captured here.' As soon as we saw him
on camera, we said that we had to lock him up and make him a series regular. If
the show works as well as I think it will, Judd Apatow will discover him and
that'll be the end of television for him."
Matt Passmore on Daniel: "He finds Daniel at the university.
Daniel helps out in a case, but Jim also know that that really annoys Carlos."
Carlos Gomez on Daniel
Green: "I've taken Daniel under my wing because he's good at what he
does. And he annoys me sometimes, drives me insane. I think we clash with that,
but he brings a great color to the substation."
