Not every comedy has been a success for the peacock
on Thursday nights, of course. Anybody remember Dabney Coleman in "Madman of
the People"? Or what about "Stark Raving Mad," a one-season-and-out entry
that starred Tony Shalhoub as a horror writer and Neil Patrick Harris ... more as his phobia-ridden editor.
Strangely, Shalhoub would go on to find major TV success as a phobia-plagued
detective on "Monk."
