These ladies' dresses took a backseat to their Academy Award acceptance speeches

On the red carpet of all manner of awards ceremonies, most of the
observations concerning the female nominees concerns what, and in many cases
"who," the lady in the camera's eye is wearing. Once a winner is announced, the
dress, as it should, takes a back seat to the accomplishment. With at least one
notable exception, that's the case here in the following gallery of female Oscar
winners who put their own indelible stylistic signatures on their acceptance
