Hollywood is just going downhill, year by year.  Remember who won over "Brokeback Mountain?"  No one does.  And then there was Hurt Locker.  And all those other yawners.  Self-aggrandizement is a sin.  Why not lock all these self-important "stars" and give them jobs in a commune or kibutz?  It truly a shame how we adore these pigs and do very little for the men and women in arms.  Give some semi-talented nobody $26 million a film while there has to be food drives for those serving their country.  America has a lot to be ashamed of.  Hollywood is one.

They only produce terrible movies because the American public is silly enough to pay good money and support them.  They are money driven. . .if we would only spend money on movies showing character and values. . .they would eventually have to make them.

They should let the public pick the movies not the critics.

I really liked the special effects in Gravity, but how do green screen & CGI equal cinematography?

All these movies, in just about every category, are grade A CRAP! I wouldn't even waste my time downloading any of them thru a torrent site for free! The Oscars used to mean something.. Now it's just thrown together.. More of a high class shing digg than anything. none of these movies are anything to write home about.. DISAPPOINTED!
