I am so glad that others thought that this movie was so bad. I downloaded it for 2.99. It should have been free!!!!! Totally stupid plot and the ending was even worse. Glad I did not spend my money at the show.

21 Jump Street?? Is this a joke? How are we supposed to take this list serious if this movie is your lead off for Best Movies of the year? This was a terrible, un-funny, boring movie with a stupid, played out, predictable plot. I know I actually fell asleep during this movie 3/4ths  of the way through it and had to be woken up for the movie ending (which was disappointing because I was having a dream about watching paint dry) which, IMO, was just as boring as the first three quarters...

The Best

"21 Jump Street"

The name, the idea, the pitch all made film fans roll their eyes: Why would you bring back the '80s TV show about cool young cops going undercover at high school? The answer, it turns out, is that in the hands of directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller ("Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs") and stars Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, the end result is utterly hilarious, both sending up the "Jump Street" series and embodying it, paying tribute while taking shots. With its hyper camera work, deadpan sense of humor ("You do ... have the right ... to be an attorney ...") and killer cast and crew, "21 Jump Street" wound up being the comedy of the year so far.

(Similar runner-up: "Goon")
