While it is impossible to come to an organized and fair consensus on what the
best movie of all time is, it's much easier to reach into one's own psyche and
pull out those movies that we consider our favorites: movies that evoke some
emotion in us, whether it be by scaring us, bringing us to tears, thrilling us
to the edge of our seats, making us laugh until we cry or moving us to a point
where we think about the world around us in a different way. These films stay
with us throughout our lives.

movies of all time. While some may not have been worthy of an Academy Award
nomination or even ever spoken of in the same sentence as some Oscar winners,
